Six pages within the text block are highlighted, one is underlined in pencil. Unclipped jacket is chipped along the crown of the spine, lightly rubbed, and edge worn. 120 pages. Book is good, dust jacket very good. Signed and dated in black ink by Adams on the second free end paper: "Yosemite 6-26-61" 
 
Historical, technical without being abstruse, and most of all practical. Adams starts with a history of the printing process and then - in darkroom and finish room and with lab equipment, chemicals, exposures, toning, mounting, presentation, and reproduction - takes the apprentice through every step of the print. Ends with a formulary for development.
