The physicist Shevek goes on a quest to reunite the peoples of a moon and its planet, one anarchist, the other divided by class and defined by great beauty. The Dispossessed proved once again how SF brings us to new appreciations of the ultimate political and philosophical questions. And it's every reader's treat that Le Guin did so with her mastery of the art of the sentence and legendary bullshit detector.
