Part of Alec Soth's experimental Little Brown Mushroom publishing house. Travel writers Dyer and Iyer have played table tennis with one another, and now the play goes literary. Dyer's on the verso side. He responds to an image Soth, another devotee of the table, has collected of ping pong. Iyer, on the recto, responds to Dyer. The book's production, like ping pong, makes something smaller than you grow and eventually contain you as you focus on the interplay and sudden strategic insights.
