Kitchen Confidential
Bloomsbury: 2000. Later printing of the first edition. Hardcover octavo in a pictorial dust wrapper. Black boards. Later printing of the first edition. Signed by the culinary folk hero on the title page with original artwork (a dripping blade) under his customary "cooks rule!" slogan. Already scarce signed, even more so when embellished by a drawing from Bourdain. Very good book in a near fine jacket.
An exceptional copy of this now infamous tell-all industry memoir which chronicles the late Bourdain's professional hits and misses alongside lurid personal tales of drugs, sex, crime, and mostly conventional restaurant debauchery.
“Vegetarians are the enemy of everything good and decent in the human spirit, an affront to all I stand for, the pure enjoyment of food.”
